Al-Qur'an,

Many are the Jinns and men We have made for Hell: They have hearts where with they understand not; eyes where with they see not; and ears where with they hear not. They are like cattle-nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning) (al-A'raf: 179).

Have they not traveled through the land so that they have hearts to think with, and ears to hear with? It is not the (physical) eyes that are blind, but the hearts within the breasts (al-Hajj: 46)

For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (al-Anfal: 22).
